We have visitors’ accommodation on our property 20 minutes south of Hobart
Set on 90 acres made up of pasture and bush, Tassie Holiday Homes offers a gorgeous rural setting.
It is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Tassie Holiday Homes is ideal for bush walking, mountain bike riding or just winding down.
Our Cabins
We currently have 8 cabins. (see some photos here.)
All our cabins are self contained and include all linen and towels.
All cabins have hot plates and Microwave for cooking.
There are three larger cabins which have an electric oven as well but with limited availability.
They are fully furnished and have efficient heating.
Each cabin has its own concrete parking area right at the front door.
Cabins are available from short three night (min) stays through to longer term of up to 3 months.
Seven cabins have two bedrooms, accommodating up to 4 Guests.
One cabin is ideal for a single person also self contained and furnished.
Other Features
We are situated just 10 minutes from Kingston with its large shopping centre and its popular beach. Read about some of the local attractions here.
There is a caretaker couple living on-site permanently.
We have many native animals visiting us, most arrive on dusk including wallabies, native birds and parrots, possums and potoroos. See more here.
